When and where is the Festival?
The 2026 Festival will take place from 2 – 11 October 2026 in various venues in Henley-on-Thames. For more details scroll to the bottom of the website to sign up to our newsletter and follow our social media channels.
Where is the Box Office and when is it open?
Before the Festival, the Box Office is open between 10am – 2pm Monday – Thursday and can be reached on 01491 575 948.
During the Festival the Box Office will be located in the Town Hall. It is open 3-11 October from 9am – 7pm.
When can I book tickets?
Tickets are available to purchase from 13 July 2026. Friends will have early access to tickets.

How can I book tickets?
The best way to book tickets is by booking online at any time or by phoning the box office on 01491 575948 between 10-2pm, Monday to Thursday.
We cannot accept ticket bookings via email.
Where do I collect my tickets?
We will only be issuing E-Tickets.
E-Tickets are emailed directly after purchase and can be printed at home or shown on your phone. If you do not have an email address then contact us and we will arrange to print them for you.
I can’t make my event, can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. Tickets can be exchanged for other tickets of equal or greater value until 1st September 2026. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further details.
How do I contact the Box Office during the festival?
Once the Festival is underway we may not be able to answer the Box Office line as frequently. If you can’t find the answer to your question above then please leave us a message on 01491 575 948 or email info@henleyliteraryfestival.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
The event is sold out – is there a waiting list?
Waiting lists will be available for all sold out events. If any tickets are released or exchanged, the waiting list will be notified and tickets can be purchased on a first-come-first served basis.
Tickets sometimes become available on the day of the event, so it is always worth going to the venue 30 minutes before the event starts and asking for tickets (these will be cash only).
