2026 Schools' Programme
Children across the country can enjoy international bestsellers, award-winning illustrators, acclaimed poets and even a film star with Henley Literary Festival’s schools programme this autumn, in-person and online.
Lottie Brooks creator Katie Kirby will discuss her chart-topping series while fellow bestseller M.G. Leonard will bring Elizabethan England to life. Wonka star Paterson Joseph celebrates Black British history with Ten Children Who Changed the World and comedian Olaf Falafel introduces his new graphic novel series The Far-Out Five.
Younger children will enjoy interactive sessions with award-winning author-illustrator Sophy Henn, much-loved local poet A.F. Harrold and Joseph Coelho, the previous Children’s Laureate.
We are streaming again for free to students in 2026!
We can’t wait to welcome you all (in Henley or on screen!) to our fantastic line-up of schools’ events this year.
