From over 30 years as the expert of Countdown’s Dictionary Corner to her popular Word of the Day on Twitter, Susie is a wonder with words. Now she brings that talent to her first novel Guilty by Definition. It will come as no surprise that her debut mystery is set in the Clarendon English Dictionary offices with lexicographers bewildered by the arrival of a series of anonymous letters. The writer and broadcaster makes a welcome return to the Festival.
