Greg Doran

As Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Greg directed or produced all of the plays in Shakespeare’s First Folio. My Shakespeare: A Director’s Journey through the First Folio is a fascinating insight into the theatrical world, from 9/11 unfolding during a matinee of King John to introducing Falstaff to China and how a meeting with Nelson Mandela inspired his Julius Caesar. And he gives insights into working with actors including Judi Dench, David Tennant, Patrick Stewart, Paterson Joseph and his late husband Antony Sher.
