Friends of the Festival
We are already in the process of booking some wonderful authors. The intimacy of our fabulous venues makes Henley very special – it also means that we sell out of tickets for the major events quickly. Becoming a Friend of the Festival enables you to get tickets for the most popular events during a two-week priority booking period. It is also a great way of keeping up to date with the latest festival news and, by providing long-term support, helps to ensure the future of the festival. We are a not-for-profit organisation and we need your support to enable us to once again provide a stimulating and entertaining programme.
The 2012 Henley Literary Festival will take place from 24th to 30th September.
Friends of the Festival are now taking members for 2012
Friend's membership is £30 and includes:
- An exclusive two week priority booking period before the Box Office opens to the general public which ensures Friends are able to get to all the events they want
- Exclusive ‘Friends’ ticket offers including buy one get one free and free tickets on selected events which will be announced frequently through emails
- Priority mailing of programme announcements
- An opportunity to attend an event for ‘Friends only’
- Regular email newsletters including the popular Directors’ Picks
We also offer 'Gold Friend' Memberships for £100 if you wish to provide greater support. Making ends meet over the last five years has been increasingly difficult and we have only done so because of the generosity of our volunteers and the pro bono work of our team. Now that The Festival is an established part of the literary circuit and a fixture in the Henley diary, we are keen to place it on a firmer footing. The primary benefit to Gold members is the knowledge that they are contributing to the permanence of Henley Literary Festival. Names of these supporters will be recorded in the programme (unless otherwise requested) and Gold members will also have the same benefits as Friends.

By purchasing a Friends membership you agree to the terms and conditions of the friends membership which are the number of tickets available to friends during priority booking period is limited to 2 per person for sell out events and all tickets are subject to availability. The amount of tickets available is at the discretion of the box office assistant. Membership does not guarantee tickets will be available for every event.
